"FALL"ing uphill

Autumn is such a wonderful time.
You've got warm days and cool nights...
with none of the mud and drizzly rain of springtime.
The trees aren't barren sticks, waiting to bud,
but are covered with all kinds of colored leaves.
I took a hike up one of my favorite park trails this morning.
You hike up a little canyon, through the scrub oak,
and have beautiful vistas of the valley below.
I wanted to take some photos...but Daughter #4 borrowed my "Big/Good" camera.
That's OK...I just slipped my little "point-and-shoot" over my shoulder and took off.
It actually takes better macro shots than the big one...
