passing fancy

it used to be that everybody blogged.

i mean, you couldn't "swing a dead cat" (one of our favorite expressions!) without reading about what so-and-so's kids were up to or what what's-her-name was cooking this week or where who's-it and what's-it went on the weekend. it was fun to see what your friends were doing on the other side of town...or the world.

but apparently, blogging is in the same family as new year's resolutions...lovely to make - difficult to accomplish.

i have friends (and family members...oh you KNOW who you are!) that sincerely wanted to keep an updated, see-what's-happening-this-week blog. i mean, they practically signed a compact with their blood! and i know...LIFE gets in the way and we all are busy...but somehow, what seemed all the rage then, has now become a passing fancy.

for all you bloggers out there that haven't updated your blog since...oh, july...or even LAST january...i miss you! please write!
