the first day of winter was on december 21st...a mere 2 weeks ago...
and i am already sick of it!
it's been snowy and cold and foggy and cold...and freezing!
you know what the low was the past few nights?
8!!
i do NOT recall signing any kind of contract stating that i was willing to live in a place that got this cold!
the air is thick with a nasty inversion and the snow refuses to budge! see that weak, milky light in the sky? that's the sun...trying to make a dent in the refrigerator that we're in. oh wait...a fridge is usually around 35 degrees! we haven't seen that for-ever! that would feel downright balmy!
every early morning we get a little crystal snowfall that makes walking and driving just a wee bit "interesting!"
yah yah yah...all you "glass-half-fullers" tell me that the fog/cold makes the bushes and trees sparkly...
but i'm siding with mark twain on this one...

can't global warming make a little visit to my neck of the woods?
