the january gutter

We are in the dregs of winter. It's foggy, smoggy and lifeless...and my mind is in a rut. I need a spark...something to drive the doldrums away...but I got nothing! I've had a desire to knit something...but I don't know what! I've had a desire to go somewhere...but I don't know where! I've needed to post some creative blog entry...but my brain has frozen up! I've had a desire to do something, anything, fun...but nothing comes to mind. So, to cure my melancholy and celebrate a birthday...Sweetie and I are taking the whole family bowling next week! Hopefully playing "gutter ball" will drive my hibernation away!
