Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads!

I have a group of friends that are fondly called "The Marthas". We are always doing stuff together...tea parties, chocolate parties, manicure nights, birthday ice cream runs...and just generally being there for each other through sadness, sickness and joy! One of the Marthas owns a lovely cabin and the whole mob of Marthas (there are only 5 of us!) stay overnight once a year. Cabin Martha owns/borrows a bunch of 4-wheelers which we ride...complete with pink lace "Martha-esque" 4-wheeler gloves! This year we ate dust for about 3 hours and while it's not your typical "off roading"...we ride on the dirt and rocky roads on the hillsides around the cabins...we have a great time! I did some fun whoop-de-dos this year and rode through a couple of mud puddles! We saw beautiful mountains and cabins, deer and Daddy, Mama and Baby Moose! We returned to the cabin to eat dinner (delicious shrimp tacos and chocolate mousse...the dessert kind!) play games and do what we do best...talk! It was finally lights out at 1 a.m. then up the next morning for more talking and more food! It's always great doing stuff with my Martha friends...all we need is a few hours together every few months, and we're ready to ride the rocky roads of live all over again!
