*a tropical flower used in perfume
There is opposition in all things...Yin/Yang, Good/Evil, Poverty/Prosperity, Democrat/Republican! And yes...even beauty/stickiness! Let me explain...
We have loads of catalpa trees at our house. Every June they are filled with gorgeous white orchid-like blossoms that perfume the air with a wonderful scent. This lasts for about 10 days when the flowers fall off and...

...become a big mess! So many blossoms fall off that my driveway looks like it is snow-covered! And those gorgeous flowers turn into a sticky mess that cling to the asphalt, the car, the patio furniture, the bottom of your shoes... only to be released when they hit a newly scrubbed kitchen floor!
I suppose it's just Nature's way of obeying Newton's 3rd law..."for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction." I'm gonna go "react" and squirt off the driveway!
