A Saturday Smorgasbord

This is our exciting Saturday! Since it's been several years since Sweetie has been in Scouts (he's in Scouts again now!) he wanted to "practice" cooking on our campstove. So we invited our guinea pigs...hmmm, I mean kids...for breakfast. Sweetie made potatoes, bacon, juice, eggs and pancakes...and did a great job!..and so far...no one has gotten sick! Then Sweetie and Son #2 decided to tackle the corner fence that has been shoved up skitty-whompus by an ever-expanding tree. They took down the fence, dug up patio block and retaining wall, put up new stringers and reinstalled the fence...all while it was dripping rain! Hmmm....rain and power tools?! Not the smartest combination!
